Role Description The Account Analyst is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, reviewing transactions, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, resolving discrepancies, and preparing reports.
Key Responsibilities
Review and process invoices and related financial documents.
Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation.
Perform account reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies.
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve invoice and payment queries.
Prepare reports and maintain Excel-based records.
Use accounting software or ERP systems to record and review transactions.
Follow company procedures and maintain the confidentiality of financial information.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and reconciliation.
Working knowledge of MS Excel.
Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems is preferred.
Valuable analytical skills, attention to detail, and time-management skills.
Positive written and verbal communication skills.
