About the client: a leading listed fund administration and investor services platform.
The role. Join the Private Equity Operations team that serves as the daily point of contact
for clients. You will produce timely, accurate accounting and reporting for assigned PE
funds. You will run daily, monthly and quarterly deliverables through controls, trial balance
preparation and analytical reports, and answer client queries the same day.
Responsibilities:
Calculate daily Net Asset Value (NAV) and run daily and monthly securities pricing
analysis
Understand the operational workflow across trade booking, confirmation, settlement,
collateral, product control and investor allocation
Reconcile positions and cash with prime brokers, custodians and counterparties, and
close open breaks on time
Perform middle-office functions: P&L; analysis, daily cash projections, FX transfers for
funding, and checks on client contributions and redemptions
Review general ledger exceptions, find their causes and post the adjustments
Verify performance by reviewing large P&L; swings and checking income and expense
journals
Accrue daily or monthly non-security items, including management fees and financing
accruals
Process non-automated transactions, including OTC derivatives and their cash
movements
Validate and process corporate action data
Skills and qualifications:
CA / MBA (Finance) / B.Com / M.Com with 1–8 years in public accounting or private
equity accounting
Familiar with preparing and reviewing capital call and distribution calculations,
management fee calculations, waterfall calculations and financial statements
Advanced MS Excel
Works well under pressure against tight internal and client deadlines
Robust written, listening and presentation skills
Client relationship management
