CollCollaborates with CAD Software Manager to complete software development assignments.
Designs and architects software components using various software technologies such as OpenGL/DirectX, NVidia CUDA, and cloud computing.
Designs and develops software components using primarily C++; may employ Python.
Ensures consistency, accuracy, and compliance with required standard.
Interacts with internal and external customers to understand and clarify customer needs.
Provides technical support and consultation to staff and customers.
Troubleshoots, tests, and analyzes complex issues and problems; determines solution.
Researches recent technology and trends in computational geometry and visualization.
Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related field; Master’s Degree preferred.
Minimum three (3) years programming experience using C/C++.
Robust background in Mathematics, Computational Geometry, or Computer Graphics required.
Expertise in Visual Studio and source control required.
Experience writing CAD software required.
Experience with dental CAD software a plus.
