Manage daily stores operations, including receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials.
Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery challans, invoices, and material specifications.
Ensure proper material identification, labeling, storage, and preservation.
Maintain accurate stock registers and update inventory in ERP/software.
Monitor minimum stock levels and initiate replenishment requests.
Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
Coordinate with production, service, maintenance, and other departments for material requirements.
Ensure proper documentation of material inward, outward, returns, and transfers.
Maintain housekeeping, safety standards, and systematic storage practices.
Collect purchase requisitions from concerned departments and verify material requirements.




Obtain quotations from vendors and prepare comparative statements.
Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and other commercial conditions.
Prepare and process purchase orders after obtaining the required approvals.
Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Coordinate with vendors regarding quality issues, shortages, damages, and replacement of materials.
Develop and maintain a reliable vendor database.
Monitor pending purchase orders and report delays to the reporting manager.
Coordinate with the Accounts Department for invoice verification and payment processing.
Identify prospects for cost reduction without compromising quality.
