Key Responsibilities
Visit patients at their homes as per the assigned collection schedule.
Collect blood samples using proper venipuncture techniques and follow safety protocols.
Verify patient details and ensure accurate sample labelling.
Handle, store and transport samples according to laboratory guidelines.
Maintain hygiene, infection control and biomedical waste disposal protocols.
Coordinate with the operations team regarding appointments, delays and collection status.
Maintain accurate records of completed and pending collections.
Ensure qualified behaviour, punctuality and positive patient communication.
Report sample collection issues, patient concerns and any incidents to the supervisor.
