Educational QualificationGraduation in Classical Dance (Bharatanatyam/Kathak) or an equivalent degree from a recognized university.
ExperienceMinimum 3 years of post-qualification teaching experience in Bharatanatyam or Kathak.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeach classical dance techniques, movements, postures, and expressions.
Provide practical training in Bharatanatyam or Kathak, including rhythm, footwork, and hand gestures (mudras).
Prepare lesson plans and conduct regular dance practice sessions.
Train students in choreography and stage performances.
Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
Prepare students for examinations, cultural events, and competitions.
Maintain student attendance, discipline, and performance records.
Required SkillsStrong knowledge of Bharatanatyam or Kathak and classical dance theory.
Positive teaching, communication, and student-management skills.
Ability to train students in both practical and theoretical aspects of classical dance.
Passion for dance education and cultural development.
Eligibility CriteriaCandidates must possess a graduation degree in Classical Dance (Bharatanatyam/Kathak) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university, along with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience after obtaining the qualifying degree.
