Job Description – Laboratory Assistant | The Green Acres Academy, Kalyan

Working Days: 5 days a week
Working Hours: 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM

Job Purpose: To support the smooth functioning of the school science laboratories by preparing materials for practical sessions, maintaining equipment, and ensuring laboratory safety.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in preparing and setting up laboratory equipment and materials for practical sessions.
Maintain, organise, and monitor laboratory equipment, chemicals, and supplies.
Ensure proper storage, handling, and disposal of laboratory materials as per safety guidelines.
Maintain laboratory inventory and records of equipment and consumables.
Keep the laboratory clean, organised, and protected for students and staff.
Report damaged equipment, shortages, and maintenance requirements promptly.




Support teachers during practical sessions and ensure adherence to laboratory safety procedures.

Educational Qualification: B.Sc. in a relevant science subject.

Experience: Freshers can apply; no prior experience required.

Skills: Basic scientific knowledge, organisational skills, attention to detail, teamwork, and awareness of laboratory safety practices.
