Position: Assistant Manager – Dairy Production
Experience Required: 4–7 Years
Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. in Food Technology or Dairy Technology

Job Purpose
To manage and monitor daily dairy production operations, ensure achievement of production targets, maintain product quality and food safety standards, and improve operational efficiency.
Roles and Responsibilities
Plan and monitor daily production activities based on sales requirements and production schedules.
Supervise and
Monitor production of milk, curd, paneer, skimmed milk powder (SMP), ghee, butter, lassi, and buttermilk.
Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining product quality and process efficiency.
Monitor manpower availability, allocation, productivity, and performance.
Ensure adherence to CIP schedules, cleaning procedures, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Marketing, Stores, and Dispatch departments for smooth production operations.
Monitor production losses, product yield, packing efficiency, and overtime expenditure.
Ensure compliance with GMP, GHP, HACCP, FSSAI, ISO,Agmark, and BIS requirements, as applicable.




Maintain daily production reports, SAP entries, and audit-related documentation.
Coordinate with the Maintenance team to minimize equipment breakdowns and production downtime.
Implement 5S, waste reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Technical Skills
Practical knowledge of dairy processing and production operations.
Experience in milk processing and dairy product manufacturing.
Knowledge of pasteurization, homogenization, separation, and standardization.
Knowledge of CIP systems, sanitation, and food safety practices.
Understanding of production planning, yield monitoring, and process loss control.
Basic knowledge of SAP production entries and inventory management.
Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety audits.
