Social Media Manager

Lakhotia College of Design is looking for a highly creative and proactive Social Media Manager to lead our social media strategy, create engaging content and strengthen our brand presence across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage monthly social media strategies and content calendars.
Manage Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and other relevant platforms.
Plan creative Reels, campaigns, student stories, campus content and promotional activities.
Design social media creatives using Canva and maintain brand consistency.
Research trends, competitors, content formats and audience behaviour.
Perform basic video editing using CapCut or similar tools.
Coordinate with designers, video editors, photographers and student content creators.
Track reach, engagement, follower growth, enquiries and campaign performance.
Analyse insights and improve content strategy based on results.
Support admissions campaigns, college events,



course launches and brand-building initiatives.
Guide the content team and take ownership of social media growth.

Requirements
2–5 years of relevant social media experience preferred.
Strong creativity, visual sense and content ideation skills.
Positive working knowledge of Canva is essential.
Basic video editing skills using CapCut or similar software.
Strong understanding of Instagram, Reels, content strategy and digital trends.
Knowledge of social media analytics and performance reporting.
Valuable communication, copywriting and organisational skills.
Candidates from creative backgrounds such as Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Media, Advertising or Digital Content Creation are preferred.
Ability to work independently, experiment with ideas and take ownership.
