Job Description – Feed Mill Supervisor

Job Summary

The Feed Mill Supervisor will be responsible for supervising daily feed production activities, managing workers, ensuring feed quality, and maintaining smooth and effective operations at the feed mill.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Production Supervision: Supervise daily feed production, including grinding, mixing, pelleting, and packing.
Manpower Management: Allocate duties to workers and ensure proper attendance, discipline, and shift management.
Quality Control: Ensure the correct ingredients, feed formulation, and mixing ratios are followed as per company standards.
Machine Monitoring: Monitor the performance of feed mill machinery and report breakdowns or technical issues promptly.
Raw Material Management: Coordinate with the storekeeper to ensure the availability and proper utilization of raw materials.
Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain workplace hygiene, safety standards, and proper housekeeping.
Production Records: Maintain daily production, material consumption, wastage, and downtime records.
Coordination:



Coordinate with the Feed Mill Manager, Accountant, Storekeeper, and machine operators for smooth operations.
Target Achievement: Ensure production targets are achieved while minimizing wastage and downtime.
Reporting: Submit daily production and operational reports to management.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Minimum qualification: 12th pass; a diploma or degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Experience in feed mill operations or manufacturing supervision is preferred.
Basic knowledge of feed production machinery and processes.
Valuable manpower management and communication skills.
Ability to maintain records and follow production instructions.
Responsible, disciplined, and capable of working in shifts.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure uninterrupted production and timely completion of targets.
Maintain feed quality and reduce material wastage.
Ensure workers follow safety procedures and operational guidelines.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
