JOB DESCRIPTION – ACCOUNTANT

Key Responsibilities
Cash & Bank Management: Maintain daily cash and bank books, record all transactions, reconcile cash balances, and perform bank reconciliation.
Production Accounting: Maintain daily production records, verify production quantities with the production team, track material consumption, wastage, and production costs.
Ledger Management: Maintain customer and supplier ledgers, reconcile accounts, and ensure all entries are accurate and up to date.
Payment & Collection Follow-ups: Regularly follow up on customer outstanding payments, monitor supplier dues, and report overdue accounts to management.
Sales, Purchases & Expenses: Verify invoices, purchase bills, receipts, payment vouchers, and expense records. Ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
Financial Reporting: Prepare daily cash and bank reports, production reports, outstanding statements, and monthly financial summaries.
Tax & Compliance: Maintain GST and other statutory records and coordinate with auditors and tax consultants.




Documentation & Control: Maintain proper accounting records, identify discrepancies, prevent unauthorized transactions, and maintain financial confidentiality.

Qualifications & Skills
Accounting or Commerce qualification preferred.
Experience in accounting, preferably in garment manufacturing.
Knowledge of accounting software, Excel/Google Sheets, GST, and bank reconciliation.
Robust numerical accuracy, honesty, and organizational skills.

Performance Expectations
Accurate and timely accounting entries.
Regular ledger and payment follow-ups.
Daily cash reconciliation and updated production records.
Timely reporting of outstanding balances and discrepancies.

Reporting to: Management

Accountability: Ensure accurate financial records, proper cash and bank control, reliable production accounting, and updated ledgers at all times.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹13,000.00 per month
