Job Description

Indian University Press is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible accounts assistant with a minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting. The ideal candidate should have valuable knowledge of BUSY accounting software, accounting principles, billing, invoicing, and basic GST-related work. Good communication skills, accuracy, and the ability to maintain financial records efficiently are essential for this role.

Job Responsibilities:
Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
Handle sales and purchase entries, bills, invoices, and vouchers.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.




Maintain and update accounting records using BUSY accounting software.
Assist in bank reconciliation and payment follow-ups.
Maintain proper documentation of financial records.
Coordinate with internal departments regarding billing and accounts-related matters.

Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or a similar role.
Valuable knowledge of BUSY accounting software is mandatory.
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of GST, invoicing, and accounting principles.
Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer operations.
Attention to detail and the ability to manage tasks accurately.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
