Regulatory Compliance: Enforce local, national, and international fire codes (such as NFPA and OSHA standards).
Equipment Maintenance: Check and service fire alarms, smoke detectors, sprinklers, and portable extinguishers regularly.
Training and Drills: Educate staff on fire safety, lead evacuation drills, and teach proper use of safety gear.
Emergency Planning: Design emergency response protocols and coordinate directly with local fire and rescue services.
Incident Investigation: Lead investigations after a fire or false alarm to find the root cause and update safety policies.
Record Keeping: Maintain logs of inspections, drills, maintenance, and training completions.
