Job Description – Quality Engineer

Basic Qualification: DME / BE – Mechanical
Experience: 1–5 years maximum
Industry Preference: Sheet Metal Fabrication and Machining

Required Skills & Competencies:
Valuable knowledge of engineering drawing study and interpretation.
Hands-on experience with measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Trimos, etc.
Experience in quality inspection of sheet metal components, machined parts, and welding components.
Knowledge of CNC, VMC, laser cutting, and other machining processes.
Willingness to work in night shifts.
Positive attitude, valuable communication, and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quality control systems, inspection plans, and quality standards.
Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials, components, in-process products, and finished products.




Identify defects, analyse quality issues, and perform root cause analysis.
Implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurring quality problems.
Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and company quality standards.
Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and other departments to resolve quality issues.
Maintain inspection reports, quality records, and documentation.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, process optimisation, and defect reduction.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
