We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team at [Your Organization Name]. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling laboratory equipment, conducting tests, and working in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
Perform laboratory tests, including specimen collection, analysis, and documentation.
Operate and maintain lab equipment such as microscopes, blood analyzers, and other diagnostic tools.
Ensure all laboratory protocols and safety standards are followed.
Prepare samples for testing and report results in a timely and accurate manner.
Assist in the processing of blood tests, cancer screenings, and other clinical assessments.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in Laboratory Technology or a related field.
Prior experience working in a clinical or diagnostic lab (preferred).
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Familiarity with blood marker analysis for cancer screening is an advantage.
Strong communication and record-keeping skills.
