Cloud Security Engineer (AWS) – 5+ Years Experience

Job Summary
Seeking a Cloud Security Engineer with 5+ years of experience in cloud and cybersecurity, including hands-on expertise in AWS security services. The role focuses on securing cloud infrastructure, implementing security controls, automating compliance, and supporting DevSecOps initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement secure AWS cloud solutions.
Manage IAM roles, policies, MFA, and access governance.
Configure and monitor AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, Config, and Inspector.
Perform vulnerability assessments and remediation.
Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
Automate security processes using Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, or Bash.
Support compliance requirements (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).

Required Skills




5+ years in cybersecurity/cloud security.
Solid AWS security expertise (IAM, VPC, KMS, WAF, Security Hub, GuardDuty).
Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
Knowledge of DevSecOps, SIEM, and vulnerability management.
Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
Experience with Linux, Windows, Docker, and Kubernetes/EKS.

CISSP / CCSP
