We are looking for a Shrink Operator to manage shrink-wrapping and packaging operations in our manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for operating shrink-packaging equipment, monitoring packaging quality, maintaining machine performance, and ensuring that products are packed securely according to production requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor shrink-wrapping machines and related packaging equipment.
Set and adjust machine temperature, conveyor speed, and other operating parameters as required.
Ensure proper shrink film feeding, sealing, wrapping, and packaging quality.
Inspect finished packs for proper sealing, uniform shrinkage, and packaging defects.
Monitor film consumption and minimize material wastage.
Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
Identify operational problems and coordinate with the maintenance team when required.
Maintain production targets, workplace cleanliness, and safety standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience operating shrink-wrapping or shrink-packaging machines.
Experience in a packaging, bottling, or manufacturing unit preferred.
Basic knowledge of shrink film, sealing, temperature settings, and machine troubleshooting.
Ability to maintain packaging quality and production efficiency.
