Roles & Responsibilities (Hospital)
Provide counselling and emotional support to patients with mental health concerns.
Assess patients’ emotional, behavioural, and psychological needs.
Support patients experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.
Assist psychiatrists in patient care and treatment follow-up.
Conduct individual and family counselling sessions.
Maintain patient records, counselling notes, and confidential reports.
Monitor patient progress and refer high-risk cases to the psychiatrist.
Provide mental health awareness and guidance to patients and families.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare specialists.
