QA Automation Engineer
5 to 6 years in QA, with hands-on in test automation
Robust Appium experience for native and hybrid mobile application testing across multiple devices and OS versions.
Strong programming ability in Java or JavaScript or Typescript.
Working knowledge of a web automation framework such as Selenium or Playwright.
API automation, with a working understanding of REST and authentication.
Working SQL for test data setup and result verification.
Strong debugging skills: able to diagnose flaky and failing tests and distinguish a real defect from a test or workplace issue.
Test data management: able to create, reset and maintain the data a suite.
Version control with Git, and experience running automated tests through a CI tool such as Jenkins, GitLab CI




Able to extend an existing framework and build new automation from scratch.
Ability to work across multiple applications and switch between them as needed.
Comfortable contributing to manual and exploratory testing alongside automation.
Logical thinker, Collaborative, raises problems early and shares knowledge.
Positive attitude and a good team player.
Valuable written communication for producing test evidence.
