About Us:

About the role:

You'll run the unit's day-to-day operations and report to the Business Operations Manager. You'll work closely with the CFO, the Financial Controller, group company teams, vendors and legal counsel.

What you'll do:
Finance operations (~60%): petty cash and expense tagging, monthly travel reconciliations, legal cost summaries, and the weekly payout sheet
Payments: track vendor invoices from receipt to payment, check them against purchase orders and approvals, verify GST/TDS, and keep a central payment log
Trackers and reporting: maintain the contract, IP and compliance trackers, and flag renewals and blockers early. Send weekly and monthly updates to leadership
Vendors and office (~25%): vendor onboarding, contract summaries and signatures, insurance and lease admin, and running the Mumbai office (including coordination with the Bangalore team)
Production support: guest scheduling,



travel and paperwork for podcasts and shoots, and tracking costs against budgets
Analysis (~15%, growing over time): budgets, financial models and commercial comparisons for recent shows, events and deals

What we're looking for:
1–3 years in business operations, finance operations, consulting, or a founder's office (startup or media preferred)
Robust Excel / Google Sheets skills, including lookups, pivot tables and trackers
Working knowledge of invoices, GST, TDS and basic accounting
Comfortable reading contracts and picking out key terms and dates
Explicit written English, strong follow-through, good judgement on what to escalate, and discretion with confidential information
Good to have: B.Com, BBA, CA Inter or MBA. Exposure to media, events or vendor-heavy operations. Comfort using AI tools.
