Design, develop, and maintain complex data workflows and pipelines using Alteryx. Utilize ANSISQL to query, manipulate, and optimize data across various relational databases. Apply principles of dimensional data modeling to structure data for productive analytics and reporting. Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable solutions. Ensure data quality and integrity through validation and testing of data models and workflows. Monitor and optimize performance of Alteryx workflows and SQL queries for efficiency and scalability. Document data models, workflows, and processes adhering to best practices and organizational standards. Stay updated with emerging trends and best practices in data modeling and Alteryx toolsets.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of dimensional data models that support business intelligence and analytics initiatives
Develop and maintain Alteryx workflows that automate data integration transformation and cleansing processes
Write and optimize ANSISQL queries to support data extraction transformation and loading activities
Collaborate crossfunctionally with data teams to ensure alignment of data architecture and modeling standards
Conduct troubleshooting and resolve issues related to data workflows and model performance
Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior team members on best practices in Alteryx and data modeling
Support data governance efforts by maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with data policies
Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data processing efficiency and reliability
