Role purpose Own endtoend architecture for the CBS News Datahub BigQuery knowledge graph semantic layer Looker and conversational analytics

Key Responsibilities
Define target and phase architectures
Validate service selection and integration patterns
Design security IAM and workplace dependencies within project boundaries
Define NFR assumptions and design decisions
Guide engineering teams
Review canonical ontology LookML and Gemini integration designs
Support architecture approvals
Run discovery workshops
Define personas and analytical journeys
Baseline entitiestables with client owners
Document user stories and definitions of done
Manage requirement traceability
Support semantic definitions




Coordinate UAT readiness and signoff evidence
Define business entities canonical structures and SilverGold data models aligned to CBS News analytical personas
