Role Overview & Ownership Areas The Analyst Scorecard Validation will be responsible for validating credit risk scorecards and underwriting models used in vehicle finance portfolios. The role ensures models are robust, compliant with regulatory expectations, and accurately predict credit risk across customer segments.

Key Responsibility Areas
Validate application scorecards, behavioral scorecards, and collection models used in vehicle finance portfolios.
Perform independent model validation, including discriminatory power (e.g., KS, Gini), calibration, and stability analysis.
Conduct back-testing and benchmarking of scorecards against actual portfolio performance.
Assess model assumptions, data quality, and segmentation logic.
Monitor model performance through periodic validation and trigger-based reviews.
Identify model risks, limitations, and recommend enhancements or recalibration.
Work closely with credit policy, analytics, and business teams to understand model usage and impact.




Ensure compliance with internal model governance frameworks and regulatory expectations (e.g., RBI guidelines).
Prepare validation reports, documentation, and presentations for senior management and audit teams.
Support internal/external audits and regulatory inspections related to model risk.

Qualifications
8 plus years of experience in credit risk analytics, scorecard development/validation, or model risk
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related field
Experience in NBFCs, banks, or fintechs handling retail/vehicle finance portfolios preferred Desired Competencies
SAS / SQL / Python / R
Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables)
Data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
