Key Responsibilities
Design and build high-performance, stateless REST APIs using asynchronous and event-driven patterns for high-volume, low-latency interactions.
Design decoupled microservices communicating through message queues, event buses, or streaming platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Pulsar.
Architect systems for high concurrency, large payloads, pagination, and version-secure message exchange using Protobuf, Avro, or JSON.
Deploy and operate services on Kubernetes or ECS, applying Docker containerization, CI/CD automation, observability, and autoscaling.
Design storage and caching strategies using PostgreSQL, Aurora, MySQL, Redis, Memcached, RocksDB, or DynamoDB, balancing latency, durability, and cost.
Build backend services using Go or Rust, with Python for orchestration and automation; apply functional, concurrency, and idempotency principles.
Develop load-testing and benchmarking approaches using Locust, k6, or JMeter; profile systems and optimize CPU, memory, I/O, and garbage collection.
Establish design standards that improve resilience, observability, maintainability, and scalability.
Create automated unit, integration,



and black-box testing for asynchronous flows, schema conformance, and payload validation.
Own API lifecycle and contract management, including backward compatibility, schema versioning,

pagination, partial updates, and modular validation

Qualifications And Experience
8 – 11 years of experience designing, building, and operating distributed, asynchronous systems and production-grade applications.
Solid expertise in REST, gRPC, microservices, message-driven systems, and event-driven architectures.
Hands-on proficiency in Go, Rust, and/or Python, with experience deploying microservices on Kubernetes or ECS.
Solid experience with PostgreSQL/Aurora, Redis, DynamoDB, or comparable low-latency storage and caching technologies.
Working knowledge of Locust, k6, or JMeter, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
Strong understanding of Docker, CI/CD, DevOps practices, Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools, and functional, reactive, and concurrent programming.
