Position description: Join Jindal Ferrous Limited's Carbon Steel Operations team as a key technical contributor responsible for supporting the engineering and operational activities within the mining and metals sector. This role involves assisting in the design, maintenance, and optimization of carbon steel production processes, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement process improvements in a agile industrial setting.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in the design, development, and implementation of carbon steel production processes to optimize operational efficiency.
Support the maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical equipment used in carbon steel operations to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with senior engineers and operations teams to monitor process parameters and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment and processes to identify potential risks and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare technical reports,
documentation, and standard operating procedures to support operational activities and compliance requirements.
Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of materials and spare parts for maintenance activities.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing process data and suggesting enhancements to reduce costs and improve product quality.
