Role & responsibilities The CNC Operator will operate computer-controlled machinery to manufacture precision components according to engineering drawings, production schedules and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines.
Load materials, tools and workpieces correctly.
Read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Check dimensions using measuring instruments.
Monitor production quality and machine performance.
Identify machining defects and report technical issues.
Follow maintenance and safety procedures.
Preferred candidate profile
ITI, diploma or relevant machining qualification preferred.
Experience operating CNC milling machines, CNC lathes or other specified equipment.
Knowledge of machine setup, tooling and measurement.
Familiarity with G-code, offsets and programme adjustments where required.
Knowledge of quality-control procedures.
