Purpose: To run the Ministry's social media content end to end, from captions and event ideas to video support, so that every public engagement is covered clearly and on time.
Key Responsibilities
Write captions, posts and short scripts for the Ministry's social media handles in straightforward, accurate language.
Plan and maintain the content calendar across platforms.
Suggest content ideas for every event, visit and programme the Ministry takes part in, including a coverage plan, key moments to capture and on-ground content needs.
Support event planning from a communications angle, working with the media cell and ministry officials.
Assist in video production shot lists, shooting, editing coordination, reels and short explainers.
Requirements
Prior experience working with government, including an internship or full time job in a ministry department, PSU or government programme.
Proven ability to write captions and social media content that is transparent, sharp and suitable for a public office.
Ability to generate event ideas and plan content coverage for public engagements.
Working knowledge of video production and ability to assist on shoots and edits.
Experience managing social media handles (X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube).
Valuable understanding of protocol, sensitivity and accuracy in official communication.
Fluent written English as well as Hindi
Preferred Skills
Degree in communication, journalism, media or a related field.
A portfolio of past captions, campaigns or videos.
Comfort with tight deadlines and working according to the client timelines
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
