We are looking for a Business Analyst with hands-on experience in the General Insurance domain. The ideal candidate should have exposure to insurance business processes and experience across the Health, Motor, or Travel Insurance journey.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, understand and document business requirements from stakeholders.
Analyze business processes and translate requirements into clear functional requirements / user stories.
Work closely with business, product and technology teams to understand insurance requirements.
Understand and document end-to-end General Insurance processes.
Analyze customer journeys across Health / Motor / Travel Insurance.
Prepare BRD, FRD, user stories, process flows and requirement documentation.
Identify gaps, dependencies and process improvements.
Coordinate with development and testing teams for requirement clarification.
Support UAT,
functional testing and defect clarification.
Participate in stakeholder discussions, requirement walkthroughs and project meetings.
Must-Have Skills
3.1–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
Robust exposure to the General Insurance domain.
Experience in at least one insurance journey: Health Insurance / Motor Insurance / Travel Insurance.
Positive understanding of insurance business processes and customer journeys.
Robust Requirement Gathering, Requirement Analysis and Documentation skills.
Experience preparing BRD, FRD, User Stories and Process Flows.
Valuable communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work with cross-functional Business, Product, Development and QA teams.
Good to Have
Experience in Insurance/InsurTech projects.
Knowledge of insurance policy lifecycle, quotations, issuance, renewals, endorsements and claims.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
Knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio or similar.
