Key Roles & Responsibilities
Manage critically ill patients in the ICU and emergency department.
Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with life-threatening conditions.
Provide advanced critical care, including ventilatory support and hemodynamic monitoring.
Manage medical emergencies, sepsis, shock, and multi-organ dysfunction.
Perform and supervise critical care procedures as per competency and hospital protocols.
Monitor patients’ clinical status and modify treatment plans accordingly.
Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
Ensure timely documentation, treatment planning, and clinical handovers.
Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and NABH quality standards.
Communicate effectively with patients’ attendants regarding clinical status and treatment plans.
