PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY
Handle Export RFQs and prepare freight quotations based on shipment requirements.
Obtain and negotiate freight rates with shipping lines, co-loaders, overseas agents and transport vendors.
Ensure accurate costing, margin control and timely submission of quotations.
Understand shipmentrequirementssuch as POL, POD, destination, commodity, container type, quantity, weight and shipment terms.
Coordinate with the Operations team after booking confirmation and ensure proper handover of shipment details.
Handle customer queries related to rates,schedules, bookings,shipmentstatus and documentation.
Maintain regular communication with customers and provide timely updates.
Follow up on pending quotations, bookings and customer requirements.
Maintain pricing records, quotation sheets and customer-related data.
Support the sales team with competitive pricing and quick rate responses.
Escalate rate, margin,service or customer-related issues to the reporting manager.
Ensure compliance with company KRA, KRI, SOP and reporting requirements.
