Job Responsibilities
Handle and supervise the complete fabric cutting process.
Plan cutting according to production requirements and fabric availability.
Ensure accurate fabric spreading, marker placement, and cutting.
Supervise cutting operators and helpers and allocate daily work.
Check fabric quality, width, shrinkage, and defects before cutting.
Minimize fabric wastage and maintain cutting efficiency.
Ensure correct size, quantity, shade, and fabric according to the cutting plan.
Coordinate with Production, Merchandising, Stores, and Sewing teams.
Maintain cutting records, bundle details, and daily production reports.
Ensure proper handling and identification of cut panels/bundles.
Monitor machine safety, housekeeping, and discipline in the cutting section.
Candidate Requirements
4+ years of relevant experience in garment/apparel cutting.
Strong knowledge of fabric spreading, marker planning, and cutting.
Experience handling cutting teams independently.
Valuable understanding of garment production processes.
Ability to manage production targets and minimize fabric wastage.
Valuable coordination and communication skills.
Candidates with Tiruppur garment industry experience preferred.
Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
