Role & Responsibilities
Assist in monitoring security alerts and analysing potential threats
Support vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities
Help in reviewing system logs and identifying suspicious behaviour
Support incident response activities and documentation
Conduct research on emerging cybersecurity threats and trends
Help maintain security documentation and reports

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Security, IT, or related field
Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux)
Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals (OWASP Top 10, malware, phishing)
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Positive communication and documentation skills
Experience with security tools (e.g., Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite)
Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
Understanding of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk)
Familiarity with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP basics)
Relevant certifications (or pursuing) like Security+, CEH
