A Mold Setter (Injection Molding) with 2–3 years of experience is responsible for performing mold changeovers, installing and removing molds, setting machine parameters, and ensuring smooth and productive production operations.
The role involves starting and stabilizing production runs, optimizing machine settings, troubleshooting molding defects, and coordinating with production and quality teams to maintain product standards.
The candidate should have hands-on knowledge of injection molding machines, hot runner and cold runner systems, basic mold maintenance, and adherence to safety and 5S practices.
Responsibilities also include documentation of mold changes, reporting issues to maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement activities.
Candidates should hold an ITI (Fitter/Turner/Tool & Die), Diploma in Mechanical/Plastics, or Engineering qualification, and be able to work in shift-based manufacturing environments.
