Job Responsibilities
Assist an Arabic-speaking patient in communicating with doctors, psychologists, nurses, and other staff.
Translate conversations between Arabic and English accurately.
Support communication during consultations, therapy sessions, and daily activities.
Help the patient understand instructions, appointments, and routine communication.
Maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
Ensure transparent and respectful communication between the patient and the care team.
Requirements
Fluency in both Arabic and English, including speaking and understanding.
Positive communication and listening skills.
Patience, empathy, and a supportive attitude.
Ability to handle sensitive conversations with professionalism.
Previous experience in translation or healthcare settings will be preferred.
Knowledge of mental healthcare terminology will be an advantage.
