Role & responsibilities
Manage and maintain the school library, including books, digital resources, and library records.
Promote reading habits and a love for learning among students.
Support IB curriculum and inquiry-based learning through relevant library resources.
Collaborate with teachers to support classroom learning and research activities.
Teach students basic research skills, information literacy, referencing, and responsible use of information.
Support PYP projects as applicable.
Organize reading programmes, book displays, library activities, and literacy events.
Ensure the library is welcoming, inclusive, and well-organized.
Encourage the IB Learner Profile attributes and independent learning.
Maintain library policies, inventory, and resource records.

Preferred candidate profile
Degree in Library Science or a relevant qualification.
Experience in a school library.
Valuable communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Passion for reading, student learning, and inquiry-based education.
Basic knowledge of digital library resources and library management systems.
