We are looking for compassionate, dedicated, and patient-focused General Duty Assistant (GDA) Interns to join our healthcare team for a 6-month internship program. This prospect is ideal for candidates who have completed or are currently pursuing a General Duty Assistant (GDA) qualification and are seeking practical experience in a hospital or healthcare environment.
The intern will support nursing staff and healthcare professionals in providing quality patient care while maintaining a secure and hygienic setting.
Key Responsibilities
Assist patients with daily living activities, including mobility, feeding, grooming, and personal hygiene.
Support nurses and healthcare staff in patient care activities.
Transport patients safely within the hospital when required.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and infection control standards in patient care areas.
Change bed linens and help maintain patient comfort.
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
Assist with admission, discharge, and patient transfer procedures.
Ensure patient safety and dignity at all times.
Follow hospital policies, protocols, and healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
Required:
Completed or pursuing a General Duty Assistant (GDA) certification/course.
Basic understanding of patient care and hospital procedures.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
