Job Responsibilities – Maintenance Fitter (Jewellery Manufacturing Industry)
Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of jewellery manufacturing machines and equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and ensure minimum machine downtime.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery used in gold jewellery manufacturing.
Handle fitting, assembly, dismantling, and alignment of machine components.
Repair and replace bearings, shafts, gears, belts, and other mechanical parts.
Maintain and service machines used in casting, polishing, rolling, and jewellery manufacturing processes.
Ensure proper functioning of compressors, motors, pumps, and other utility equipment.
Coordinate with the production team to resolve machine-related issues.
Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, and preventive maintenance schedules.
Follow safety procedures and ensure proper handling of tools and equipment.
Experience Required: 5–10 years of relevant experience as a Maintenance Fitter in the jewellery manufacturing industry, preferably in a gold jewellery manufacturing unit. Preferred Candidate: Candidates with experience in jewellery manufacturing machinery and mechanical maintenance.
