Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Certified Medical Coders to join our Medical Coding team. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing medical records and assigning accurate diagnostic and procedural codes using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Review patient medical records and physician documentation.
Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with client and regulatory guidelines.
Identify and resolve coding edits and documentation gaps.
Maintain quality and productivity benchmarks.
Adhere to HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements.
Participate in coding audits, training,
and continuous learning programs.
Stay updated with coding guidelines and industry regulations.
Eligibility Criteria
Any Life Science Graduate (B.Sc., B.Pharmacy, Pharm D, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Zoology, etc.) or Medical Graduate.
Freshers are welcome to apply.
Certification from AAPC (CPC) and/or AHIMA (CCS)
Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes.
Valuable analytical and communication skills.
Basic computer proficiency.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
