Role & responsibilities

Design and layout high density printed circuit boards (PCBs)
Design multilayer stackups
Place high density and high quantity of components
Design Power / Ground planes
Focus on design for EM requirement
Create and verify schematics
Generate and maintain BOMs and fabrication documentation
Create and verify component decals
Maintain standards compliance
Anticipate, identify, and solve problems independently
Preferred candidate profile

Proficient software knowledge of OrCAD and Altium,
Understanding of basic electronics, signal integrity, EMI/EMC concepts, Antennas, Power dissipation, IC Packages.
Perform placement of components and route the signals accordingly.
Valuable understanding of manufacturing processes, SMT lines and soldering methods like Re flow soldering, wave soldering,

Selective soldering etc.
Thorough knowledge of mechanical concepts and constraints, valuable coordination with mechanical Engineer designing the outer

packaging of the PCB.
