Role & responsibilities
Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and safety conditions in the microbiology lab.
Maintain adequate inventory of media and consumables.
Perform sampling of RM, FG, CIP, in-process, environmental swabs, hand swabs, and water as per SOP.
Conduct microbiological analysis of RM, FG, CIP, in-process samples, environmental monitoring, and purified water.
Perform environmental monitoring (EM) including air, surface, and personnel monitoring.
Ensure proper microbiological waste disposal as per regulatory standards.
Maintain all lab documentation and ensure compliance with SOPs and GMP guidelines.
Conduct personal hygiene and plant hygiene audits on a routine basis.
Perform qualification and validation activities related to lab and plant.
Investigate Out of Specification (OOS) results, perform root cause analysis, and implement CAPA.

Preferred candidate profile Qualification: M. Sc. (Microbiologist)
