Customer Service: Greet patients at the counter, answer phone calls, handle prescription drop-offs and pickups, and direct clinical or medical questions to the pharmacist. [1, 2, 3]
Administrative & Data Tasks: Enter patient information and current prescriptions into pharmacy software, file insurance claims, process payments, and manage records. [1, 2]
Inventory Management: Restock shelves with over-the-counter medications, count and organize stock, unpack deliveries, and check for expired or recalled items. [1, 2, 3]
Support with Dispensing: Under strict pharmacist or technician supervision, assist with counting pills, measuring liquids, labeling packages, or preparing basic compounds. [1, 2]
