Role & responsibilities
1015 years of relevant experience in procurement and sourcing within project-based engineering or equipment manufacturing industries.
Hands-on experience in sourcing electrical and mechanical components, equipment, and bought-out items from domestic and international vendors.
Solid knowledge of global sourcing, import procedures, shipping documentation, freight coordination, and customs clearance.
Demonstrated ability to lead, guide, and manage a procurement team of 8 or more members.
Expertise in supplier negotiations, vendor development, cost reduction, and strategic sourcing.
Experience in managing procurement activities in line with project requirements, budgets, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
Ability to develop and maintain robust relationships with domestic and overseas suppliers.
Preferred candidate profile
Sound understanding of purchase order management, procurement planning, and supplier delivery performance.
Experience in the industrial automation sector or automation equipment manufacturing will be an added advantage.
Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
