Educational Qualification
Diploma or Degree in Industrial Safety / Fire & Safety / Occupational Health and Safety.
Diploma or Degree in Engineering with a recognized safety qualification may also be considered, subject to project and statutory requirements.
Mandatory Skills & Requirements
5+ years of relevant experience as a Safety Officer in industrial, manufacturing, construction, or engineering projects.
Robust knowledge of site safety management and hazard identification.
Experience in conducting safety inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.
Knowledge of Permit to Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Method Statement reviews.
Experience in contractor safety management and monitoring high-risk activities.
Knowledge of PPE requirements, emergency preparedness, incident reporting, and corrective actions.
Understanding of applicable Indian safety regulations and statutory compliance.
Positive communication, coordination, reporting, and documentation skills.
