Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Purchase Officer to manage the company's purchasing activities, ensure timely availability of materials, coordinate with suppliers, negotiate prices, and maintain purchase records for smooth business operations.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day purchasing activities as per the requirements of the company.
Purchase electrical components, copper winding wires, insulation materials, bearings, cables, and other industrial materials.
Obtain quotations from suppliers and compare prices, quality, and delivery timelines.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
Prepare and issue purchase orders after obtaining the necessary approvals.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of purchased materials.
Follow up on pending purchase orders and delayed deliveries.
Coordinate with the stores and production teams to understand material requirements.
Verify material specifications, quantities,



and quality against purchase orders.
Maintain purchase records, supplier details, quotations, purchase orders, and related documents.
Identify suitable suppliers and maintain good working relationships with existing vendors.
Resolve issues related to incorrect materials, shortages, damaged goods, and delayed deliveries.
Coordinate with the accounts department regarding supplier invoices and payment status.
Monitor purchase expenses and identify opportunities to reduce costs through effective price negotiations.
Prepare purchase reports and maintain updated records of all purchasing transactions.
Ensure that all purchasing activities follow company policies and approval procedures.

Educational Qualifications
Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
B.Com or BBA preferred.
Diploma or degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
