Job Summary

We are looking for a customer-focused and proactive Restaurant Captain to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure excellent guest service, and coordinate with the service team to deliver a smooth and memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the service team to ensure productive restaurant operations.
Welcome guests, assist with seating arrangements, and ensure prompt and courteous service.
Take food and beverage orders, make menu recommendations, and address guest queries.
Monitor table setup, cleanliness, hygiene, and overall restaurant presentation.
Ensure food and beverages are served accurately and on time.
Handle guest complaints and resolve service-related issues professionally.
Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth order flow and timely service.
Monitor staff grooming, discipline, attendance, and adherence to service standards.




Assist with staff training and guide team members on service procedures.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and restaurant operating standards.
Support billing, cash handling, and shift closing procedures, wherever required.

Requirements
1–3 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality operations, preferably in a Captain or Senior Steward role.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and guest-handling skills.
Good knowledge of food and beverage service standards and restaurant etiquette.
Ability to lead a team and manage multiple tasks during busy service hours.
Skilled grooming, a positive attitude, and a customer-first approach.
Flexibility to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and on public holidays.
