Experience: 2–3 years of relevant lifeguarding experience preferred
Qualification: Recognised lifeguard certification with valid CPR, first-aid and water-rescue qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise the swimming pool and surrounding areas to ensure learner safety at all times.
Actively monitor swimmers and identify potential risks or unsafe behaviour.
Respond promptly to aquatic emergencies and perform water rescues when required.
Provide immediate first aid and CPR within the scope of training.
Ensure compliance with pool safety rules, emergency procedures and school safeguarding policies.
Inspect poolside areas, rescue equipment and safety equipment before swimming sessions.
Maintain appropriate safety and incident registers
Ensure learners follow pool entry, exit and conduct protocols.
Coordinate with swimming coaches and school administration to maintain a safe swimming workplace.
Assist in emergency drills and routine safety inspections.
Monitor pool hygiene and report maintenance or water-quality concerns to the designated team.
Maintain qualified conduct and ensure the dignity and safeguarding of all learners.
Essential Requirements
Valid, recognised lifeguard and water-rescue certification.
Current CPR and first-aid certification.
Robust swimming ability and practical emergency-response skills.
Alertness, sound judgement and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Experience working around children in a school, sports academy or aquatic facility preferred.
Knowledge of internationally recognised pool-safety practices.
Willingness to work full time on campus and support the school's swimming schedule and sports events.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
