To ensure maximum uptime, reliability, and efficiency of SMT production lines by carrying out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of SMT machines and associated utilities.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of SMT machines, ensuring minimum production downtime.
Troubleshoot and repair SMT equipment, including pick-and-place machines, solder paste printers, reflow ovens, AOI, SPI, conveyors, and PCB handling systems.
Diagnose electrical, electronic, pneumatic, mechanical, and servo-drive-related faults.
Maintain and troubleshoot machine systems involving PLCs, sensors, motors, drives, actuators, and control panels.
Coordinate with production and process teams to resolve recurring machine failures and improve OEE.




Execute root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Monitor MTTR, MTBF, machine availability, and maintenance-related downtime.
Maintain spare-parts inventory, critical spares, maintenance logs, and breakdown records.
Support current machine installation, commissioning, machine setup, and equipment qualification.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, 5S, TPM, and maintenance procedures.
Coordinate with OEMs and external service providers for technical support and major repairs.
