Assist in the protected lifting, shifting, loading, and unloading of construction materials.
Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, rigging teams, and site engineers.
Ensure that loads are properly secured before lifting, in coordination with the rigger.
Monitor the lifting area and ensure workers remain explicit of suspended loads.
Check for obstacles, overhead power lines, and other potential hazards before lifting.
Follow approved lifting plans and site safety procedures.
Stop lifting operations immediately if any unsafe condition arises.
Maintain transparent communication with the crane operator throughout the operation.
Follow all instructions given by the site engineer and safety department.
