Key Responsibilities
Develop, debug and deploy LabVIEW applications for automated test benches, data acquisition, monitoring and special-purpose machines.
Build applications using standard architectures such as state machines, producer/consumer and queued message handlers.
Interface LabVIEW with PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi MELSEC) via OPC UA/DA, Modbus TCP/RTU and Ethernet/IP.
Integrate hardware such as NI DAQ, cRIO/PXI, cameras, barcode/QR scanners, fingerprint modules, serial-to-Ethernet modules and other instruments over RS-232/485, TCP/IP and USB.
Implement machine vision and inspection routines using NI Vision, where applicable.
Log data to databases (SQL Server, MySQL, SQLite) and generate test reports in Excel, PDF or other formats, including traceability records.
Create operator-friendly HMIs with login/role management, recipe handling and alarm/event logging.
Carry out FAT/SAT, commissioning and in office troubleshooting at client locations.
Prepare documentation: functional specifications, user manuals, wiring and communication details, and test reports.
Maintain code under version control and follow modular, reusable coding practices.
