Role Description The SALES COORDINATOR WITH MARINE BACKGROUND is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This position is responsible for coordinating sales activities, including handling inquiries, preparing quotations, tracking orders, and supporting the sales team in meeting revenue and service targets. The role involves regular interaction with customers, understanding marine equipment and service requirements, and ensuring timely communication between clients, internal departments,



and OEM partners. The Sales Coordinator will maintain accurate sales documentation, update CRM or sales tracking systems, and assist in scheduling service visits and installations. The individual will collaborate closely with operations, logistics, and technical teams to ensure smooth execution of marine projects and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications

- Ability to perform Sales Coordination and Sales Operations tasks, including managing inquiries, quotations, and order follow-ups.
- Strong Sales skills for supporting business development, upselling, and maintaining client relationships in the marine sector.
- Excellent Customer Service capabilities to respond to client needs, resolve issues, and provide timely updates.
- Clear and professional Communication skills, both written and verbal, for interaction with customers, internal teams, and international partners.
- Marine background or experience in marine equipment, services, or shipping operations is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency with MS Office and basic CRM or sales management tools.
- Ability to work in a structured, detail-oriented manner and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant diploma or degree in business, marine engineering, nautical science, or a related field preferred.
